SAFETY

Episode Student Festival wants to be a safe event both physically and mentally. Our main priority is to guarantee a memorable and safe event. The production team works closely with various authorities and plans the event within their framework.

The main priority is to be a safe event and we take that into account in all our activities. With our activities, we want to promote a safer student culture and set an example for other event organizers.

Safe space:

  • Don't accept racism, ableism or any kind of discrimination that targets, for example, gender, sexuality, background, socio-economic status, appearance, health, language, nationality, location or movement

  • Avoid discrimination, harassment, harassment and inappropriate behavior and language

  • You do not assume or make assumptions about identity, sexuality, gender, health or background

  • Respect other people's opinions, beliefs and experiences

  • Respect boundaries, whether physical or emotional

  • Be aware of your own biases and privileges, use of space and behavior

  • Accept feedback, apologize.

The following may NOT be brought into the festival area:

 

  • Any kind of drinks, hard bottles, jars or cans (You can bring one empty, clear and max. 0.5 l plastic bottle. There is an opportunity to fill the bottle in the area)

  • Umbrellas (If the weather looks rainy despite your best wishes, we recommend a raincoat or cloak. In case of bad weather, we also have disposable raincoats for sale)

  • Camping chairs (A camping chair required for health reasons is allowed

  • Pets (Guide dogs are allowed)

  • No weapons or suspected weapons, explosives, fireworks, laser pointers, spray paint or other tools suitable for harming another

  • Clothing or accessories in a distinctive color, i.e. orange or yellow, similar to a law enforcement officer's vest (Colorful student overalls are of course welcome)

  • System camera, professional video camera or selfie stick (We hope that you post memories of the event on social media with a mobile phone. Small paperbacks and film cameras are allowed)

  • Travel speakers or similar sound systems

  • Unmanned aerial vehicles such as drones

  • Own radio telephones

  • Bicycles, skateboards, scooters, electric mopeds or electric scooters
